John was convicted in Exeter Quaret Sessions 15 March 1847 and sentenced to Seven years. He sailed on the 'EDEN' on the 30 September 1848 from Plymouth, Devon England and the destination was Van Diemen's Land or Port Phillip. Is there anyone that can tell me how I can find out more about this ancestor from records online if possible, of the time he spent there, his work where he lived and if he got married and also did he stay on after the time was up etc, Any information and help would be gratfully appreciated
