Charles DUNN arrived in Sydney on MIDAS (2) on 15 Feb 1827. His brother Nicholas (aka Nicodemus)was also on board, and another brother Joseph was also transported (ship unknown). His brother appears on 1828 census but Charles does not. Charles assigned to Berry & Wollstonecraft. Absconded in 1832 with other convicts. Recaptured - no further punishment imposed. Cert. of Freedom in 1833. He and his brother Nicodemus were Ginger Beer Brewers. His children (with Mary Ann ?) were Charles (9 March 1837), Esther (b 15 November 1838), Lucy (b 22 March 1841) & Mary Ann (b 7 March 1843). Any relatives out there?
