Joana,Hannah,Anna -in various census, born ca 1812 Canada - was in Warren county, Il. by 1850 and 1860 as Mrs. Alexander McDonald with Dianna,George,Jeheil all born Canada. Allen R. and Alexander born Illinois by 1853.Must have been married in Canada about 1836.Near them is an Orbin Harnden and family, including Jeremiah and Leander Harnden who later also live near them in Decatur county, Ks. Jeheil McDonald married in ILL Sarah Ward. In 1870 they are all in Union county, Iowa .In 1880 and 1885 they are in Decatur county, KS. Are these Harnden related? Joanna Harnden McDonald probably died after 1900 in Pottawattamie county, Iowa age about 89-90,but I find no proof. In census she says her parents were born in New York. Who were her parents ? Thank you
