Can you help? I'm trying to establish family relationships among six Purdy heads of household listed in the 1840 U.S. census for Marshall Co., Va., now W.Va., and the earlier Jonathan Purdy in the same location. Here are the basics: Jonathan, born 1759 in Conn.; lived in Westchester Co., N.Y., migrated to Marshall Co. in 1790, died 1839 Simeon Sr., born ca. 1780 in N.Y. Lewis D., born ca. 1793 in Va. Simeon B., born ca. 1805 in N.Y. Robert C., born ca. 1821 in N.Y; married in 1838 James, married in 1837; died ca. 1849 John, married 1839
