Hi Mary, No, I never got around to inquiring about his qualifications. I got distracted by receiving a lot of information on another line and sort of forgot about John Cain. I don't have anything further back on his line except for his parents William Cain and Elizabeth Inns. Their children were Stephen, Edward (mar. Mary Ann Sharp), Mary, Mary Ann, Susanna, John, Fanny (mar. George Barnwell), Thomas (mar. Hannah Millerd, Eliza Filler and Caroline ?), Edward (mar. Eliza McClunan), Ann, and Eliza. Regards Sheila
