Israel Smith and Rebecca Cady, his wife, married May 7, 1843. He was of Thompson, Windham Co. Ct, and she of Killingly, Ct, married at Putnam Heights Records (1st Church of Killingly). Maybe someone can find more info on vital records. Thank you.

I am seekiing the exact date Israel Smith was born. He was in 1850 us census, age 59 kn 1850, Thompson, Windham Co., CT. there was a Israel Smith 1790 census, same place, born Brunei /Darussalem. Was he part Whitebut born Brunei with mother of Brunei, or was his father White and owned or worked a ship and married a local woman? any help appreciated.
