Hi, I don't think that there is a connection with my family.
Although my Thomas was born in Douglas and he was in Liverpool by the time of the 1841 census.
He was an accountant by trade. Although,I suppose one of his sons could have gone into the brewery business, I have not heard or seen it mentioned on any records.
