Hello Tony,
Thank you so very much for the reply and exciting information. I had never seen the spellings you wrote for the surnames I submitted, Wersal (Vrzal) and Raska (Raschka). The names of the towns in Europe you wrote are also new to me, since I know absolutely nothing of my ancestors prior to them being in Sleepy Eye, Brown County, Minnesota. I now wonder if your Raska (Raschka) is related to mine. When would the change of spelling may have taken place? After coming to America or when they were still all living where ever they were near Viena or where ever else? I don't know if my great grandparents knew each other before coming to Minnesota or not. Sure wish I could find information on them prior to being in America.
