Seeking genealogical information for Charles Ferdinand Ruby. Born 1867 in Zistersdorf, Austria. Attended Heidelberg University in Germany in the late 1880's. Emigrated to the United States in 1889.
He had 2 sisters in Austria. Bertha Gefaller and Amelia Paschelmeyer.
His mother was from Budapest, Hungary.
His father's name was Ferdinand Ruby. Ferdinand Ruby was the "Kappelmeister". He led the regimental band. Ferdinand Rudy managed the hunting lodge where Prince Rudolph committed suicide.
Saint Stephan's Cathedral in Vienna supposedly has records of the Ruby family dating back to the time when King Henry the Eighth of England was persecuting catholics.
