Surnames: Mann, Ortmann
My MANN family is also of German origin. They lived in the Austro-Hungarian Empire before emigrating to Hoboken, New Jersey USA in 1882 & 1883. Their last place of residence was listed as "Bohemia" and they may have been from the town/area of Plana, now in Czech Republic.
My 2x great grandfather Engelbrecht MANN's second wife was Elisabeth ORTMANN and there seem to be a fair number of ORTMANN in the Plana area according to LDS records.
If anyone has any information relating to the above I'd love to talk!
