Surnames: Schmul Kottwitz
My ancestor Hirrel Schmul (father Wolff Schmul b. abt 1750) b. 1770 Kurnik, Poznan, Poland married Lippmann Joseph Kottwitz b. 1764 Poznan, Poznan, Poland and died 1848 in Poznan city, so guess Hirrel lived in Poznan too. They had lots of Kottwitz kids, some of whom went to San Francisco and some to Houston, TX. I don’t have much more about Schmul. Arnold
