Surnames: LaRusch, LaRusche, LaRousch, Krimm, Krimlofski
I don't know if this email will find you, but if it does, I would appreciate a reply. My grandfather, Herman Krimlofski, immigrated from East Prussia in 1892, (date per census records) but seemed to have played games with his family name. Supposedly it was originally LaRusch, then arbitrarily changed to Krimm (all while in Prussia)and then to Krimlofski upon immigration. One of his sisters immigrated using the name Krimm, other relatives used the name Kreimlofski, then all were known as Krimlofski once settled in Nebraska. I can find nothing of him or his family prior to the earliest known immigrations in 1892 and 1893. Two difference Prussian residences mentioned in ships records were Munchenwalde and Osseningken.
