I am curious if anyone might have information on this family. I am told that they were at one time nobility. I know that seven brothers left to go to America. At least two settled in Georgia and at least one settled in Pennsylvania. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time and energy.

My Mother's Father was William Henry Baldowski, born in Georgia in 1888. His father was born in Germany in 1851. I have very little on this line, but have been working on it recently. Drop me a line and we can compare notes.

Brian, Adolph Baldowski was my Great-grandfather. His parents were Christian Von Baldowski and Auguste Carolina Maihofer. All nine family members immigrated to American departing from Bremen, Germany and arrived on Dec 1,1873 on the ship Baltimore and arrived in the Port of Baltimore. The seven brothers were in order of age at arrival; Henrick (Henry) age 21, Rudolph, age 16, Herman, age 9, Adolph, age 7, Johann (John) age 5, Wilhelm (William), age 2. I do not know the date they arrived in Augusta, GA, but all grew up in Georgia. I have quite a bit of information on the Adolph line that I would be willing to share, and also some information on the other brothers which I accumulated while researching my line.
Is it possible that you have information on Christian Von Baldowski and Auguste Carolina Maihofer Baldowski, parents of the brothers? I have nothing about them other than birth,death, and burial information.

I am related to the seven brothers in some way but I am not sure which one is my ancestor. My Grandfather was Robert Baldowski. He married Alice Brown. My Great Grandfather was Henry Baldowski. My uncle has more info but he hasn't sent it to me. His name is Robert Baldowski of North Augusta. He has a lot of that information. He may have something you need. He's not much of a computer person though.
