Trying to find info on
Josef Thiele Born in Ludge,Westphalia,( belived Prussia)Germany 17th Dec 1903- Died May 1960 Proffesion Mechanical Eng. was a Union leader who was imprisoned either late 1930's or early 1940's escaped to Briton as policical refugee.

Fathers name Franz Thiele (profession farmer)

Josef Thiele was married to Hertha ne poss Ludse or Lindze
whom he was devorced from some time between 1940 and 1947

I am trying to trace any family connection to Josef Thiele who was my wife's father and he died when she was only 3 years old and has no nowledge of her afthers side of the family. Any help given will be gratefully recieved.

Born Lügde Westphalia December17th 1903 Father Franz Thiele ( farmer in Lügde Westphalia,Franz Thiele known deceased before Novemeber 1947)Josef Thiele had a Brother but unable to find info on him other than he was sometimes refered to as Frank.

I am not sure if there is a connection, but i hope there is, my Franz/Frank ,was born 27-12-1879 Braunschweig, but as far as i know lived at Grasleben, My Great Grandfather was Franz/Frank Von Thiele/Thielen, married to Whilhelmina Roon,
Great Grandfather was supposedly a Baron, not sure about any of this, But My Grandfather Franz/Frank Thiele that is what he was know as here in Australia married here in 1908 and stated on his marriage certificate, that his Parents were deceased, and his Father was of independent means,during the war Grandfather went voluntary into a concentration camp here between 1915-1918 and was released in 1918 and there is no trace of him after that, my Grandmother remarried in 1920 and stated she was a widow but there is no proof of Grandfathers death here.
I would be very interested in finding more information about your Franz/Frank and Josef maybe there is a connection
I have contacted the BDM in Braunschweig and Grasleben looking for any records but to no avail, but i just can not give up on this, do you have any info on whom Franz and Josef Parents were.
