I had just begun to expect that Roy had gone to the United States, and was doing some searching in North Dakota.
Now I just have to figure out who this sister is. I have no record of her. His parents were married in 1888 as bachelor and spinster, so no previous children there. His mother died in 1991.
I just did some searching today at LDS for any other births between 1888 and her death. As well I searched for a later marriage right after her death that may have produced a child. No luck on either count. For the sister to be away from home, you would think she would have had to be close to Roys age, if not older.
Perhaps something will come to light down the line.
