Am working on putting together my daughter-in-law’s ancestry and would like to learn more about the following families and their ancestors:

James March and Elizabeth Burt were married 16 Dec 1852. Their daughter Matilda was born 20 Jun 1855. Matilda married 12 Jan 1875 to Stephen Cramm (son of George). Their son Walter George Cramm was born 17 Aug 1880 and married circa 1905 to Annie Selina March (born 11 Jun 1885).

Annie was daughter of William March and Mary Jane Bickett (who were married 13 Feb 1873).

I saw your RootsWeb Family Tree and tried to contact you there. My husband's ancestors are Cooper/March/Tizzard/Pike all from Old Perlican, Nfld. Please contact me and we can share information.

My family is also from the Old Perlican area, and my Great Great grandfather was a John March, several of his family came to Green's Harbour.
There are also Cramms in the Green's Harbour from there.

Yes, the March and Cramm surnames are found throughout that part of Newfoundland. I am not doing broad research on those names, though, only work on the specific people in my daughter-in-law's family tree. The only John March in her tree, so far, was born 31 Oct 1877 at Old Perlican and was the son of William March and Mary Jane Bickett. I know nothing more about that person, though; only about his sister Annie that married Walter George Cramm.

Hi Matt:
My great grandfather John M.March (1849)was married to an Emma Jane Jacobs a native from Labrador, Born 1850, died January 1, 1988.There Marriage certificate states they are 25 & 24 years old, and were married in Green's Harbour
They did have 5 boys, only two reach adulthood, my Great Uncle William, and my Grandfather Stephen March

Where did you get your information, I am really interested in info on Emma jane Jacobs.

My Great Grandfather Samuel Cooper came from the Old Perlican area and was married to Martha Cramm they had 5 boys and 2 girls,I have a tree on ancestry.ca under cooper.
My mothers grandfather John M March came from Old Perlican also.
It seems both families moved around the same time frame.

I was wondering if you could tell me what family was researching the descendants of John March this is my Great-grandfather, Emma Jane Jacobs my Greatgrandmother,Stephen March is my Grandfather and Gertrude Simmonds my Grandmother.
I have found records in the churches at Green's Harbour that states some dates are a little different.

My Great-Grandfather was Samuel Cooper & apparently came from Woolich, Kent, England, setttled in Old Perlican and later moved to Green's Harbour.
He married ? Martha Cramm and had a family consisting of sons Samuel(jr),George, Simeon,John,& William, daughters Naiomi, and Lucresia.
