I have a Bridget Drover born unknonw married to James Byrne born around 1808. I also have another Unknown Drover married to an Unknown Byrne, I believe that they are the same couple but I haven't been able to confirm it. An extensive genealogy of the Gooby's in Newfoundland has been compiled, from their origins in Christchurch, England in the early 1700's up to the present. Nearly all of the Goobies in Newfoundland are descended from James Goby who died in Old Perlican in 1812 January 16. (Post Aug 2000). Does anyone know where I could view this and/or get a copy? I know I go back to James Goby, but my info is pretty sparse! Thanks!!
