Hi Michelle,
I just came across this thread.
Boxcung is actually Boskung, now called Boshkung. There is a lake named after it, but I live in "downtown" Boskung.
I'm involved with the Stanhope Museum and have lots of info on the area, including Coopers. They lived in the farm next door to our place, but the original farmhouse is now gone.
I have photos, too. If you go to www.stanhopemuseum.on.ca you can find census info, patent land info and photo galleries. William Cooper may be in there. If not, I can send you photos.
I also have extensive family trees that include Sims and Cooper. The trees are all very inter-related ...
