Classification: Query
Surnames: Shipwreck 1879 Pinta, Howell, Quinn
Would like to know if anyone has any info about the shipwreck of the Pinta and also if they know of the poem that was written by John A. Williams
My ancestor was found 3 days later on the schooner Pinta just off Port Dalhousie and I am still trying to find out where he is buried. His name is Sampson Joseph Howell and death date is Nov 23 1879 Elgin County Port Dalhousie.
Anyone with any info or suggest where to look please contact me.
