We would like to know how to pronounce Goderich. Is it--
god rich
good rich
goad rich (rhyming with road)
or something else?! :)
My ggg-grandfather, James Ellis, migrated from England to Goderich in 1855 and lived there until 1864. Is there any way I can find record of him there? He was a millwright by trade.
