Looking for more information on my gggrandfather, Martin Fose. Unable to trace roots any further back. Martin was born in 1827 in Alsace-Lorraine. Unknown immigration date into Canada, but am guessing sometime between 1827 and 1847. Married Amanda Young in 1847 in Pelham Welland Ont. Unknown church where married. Had three children: 1. Robert Henry b 07/06/1848 in Pelham; 2. Emily b c1850 in Pelham; and 3. John A. b. c 1853 in Rochester, NY? Martin died 07/18/1893 in Simcoe. Unknown cemetery location.
