Saunders / Sanders in the Quaker community

Surnames: Saunders / Sanders
I'm trying to connect the Saunders/Sanders name to the Quaker community in the late 1700's. The line I'm trying to follow would have left Pennsylvania or around that area in the late 1700's and immigrated to New Brunswick and then on to Pickering township in Ontario in the early 1800's. I'm trying to find more information on my ggg grandfather George Saunders who was born in 1833 in Pickering. If anyone has info on the Quakers in Pickering at this time I would truly appreciate the help.
