From 1840 until around 1854 my great-great-great-grandfather, Abraham Rowand, lived on the First Line East of Chinguacousy Township. I am wondering exactly where this is. I know that his wife, Jean, and a son, Robert, were buried in Mayfield Cemetery. I have found a Mayfield Road on a map of Brampton. Am I close? Where might I find the results of the 1851 census for this area?
