James Williams b about 1835 (probably in Tipperary) and Alice Ryan b November 3 1841 or 42 (in Tipperary) and married on January 14 1868. Alice Ryan was daughter of Jeremiah Ryan and Bridget Young.

The children of James Williams and Alice Ryan were Joseph Patrick b April 14 1869, John b May 22 1870, Mary b 1872, Ellen b 1874, James b 1876 and Matthew Emanuel b Sept 13 1877.

1861 census has family in McKillop, 1881 and 1901 in Hibbert.
