I am searching for descendents of / information about Thomas and Mary (Coffey) Heffernan (born Abt. 1831, died 1/17/1888). They emigrated from Ireland with at least one infant child, son John (dob 11/3/1855). During the trip their ship sank but they survived. They lived in Picton but moved to Trenton by 1889. They had other children: Annie (died 1889),Nell (m. McCormick), Patrick, Lizzie, Ellie, Katelin (m. Joseph Klein),
Magerite (aka "Maggie", m. Capt. Jack O'Hagan, living in Tonnawanda, N.Y in 1910, had child Irene in 1893)
Michael (m.Flora?) children: Edith, Annie, Evelyn, Thom
Patrick, Lizzie, Ellie and Fred. Living in Piction as of 1910. Captain of the barge "Water Lily".
John moved West and married Mary Belle Walker. Settled in Washington State. Died in Everett, Washington in 1910. Had children Earl, Matt, Ethel, Magerite, Helen (aka Nell), Anne. At least two of these moved to California. Matt is my g/grandfather. I am trying to locate descendents. Does any of this sound familiar? If so, contact me and I will share what I have.
