The Peters family has been in the region since 1902 & my husband's grandmother began saving newspaper clippings in readiness of writing a book on the history of the area. Unfortunately, she never got to write the book but we inherited the newspaper clippings & pages she had put together on some of the families she was familiar with. I am willing to search the information if anyone has queries.
The information contains newspaper photos of many of the young men who left to fight in WWII, pioneer picnics & when each family arrived in the region, some of the mayors, wedding photos for some families, & Grandma's personal notes about the Women's Institute & some folks she knew.
