Well I have hit another brick wall and thought I would just put the request out there to everyone on the board.

Margaret Young came to Canada in 1831 with her father Andrew Young and step mother Mary Young (Montgomery) her birth mother was Margaret Shields. Once in Canada they stayed in New Brunswick until about 1840 then moved to Binbrook Ontario in 1841.

All I know about Margaret Young is about the time of her birth and were. In 1832 in a letter to another family member she made a comment about wanting a boy she like to come to Canada because she loved it so much. This makes me think her age in 1832 was about 16. I have never been able to find a marriage licence here in Canada for her. I think if she had married she would have married between 1841 and 1850 and that is to early for the marriage records. I did check marriage bands but not alot of information is given.
So if there is ANYONE that has a Margaret Young married into their family within the time frame and area of Binbrook, Ancaster, Caistor, Flamborough etc. Let me know.
I did look through the deaths as well but have found no Margaret Young to match.

Binbrook United and Knox Pres. have some Youngs, but the listings are not complete. According to the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid, there is also a Mary Young at Binbrook United.

they are all my family....:) they pretty much stayed in the Binbrook area. My guess is that Margaret married and moved from the area but it is finding who she married is the big question.
