Would like to make contact with a descendant of Aaron D Emery/Emory. This is what I have put together on Aaron so far - it is open to correction:

1. Aaron D EMERY was born about 1808 in , , USA. He died after 1881 in Flamborough East, Wentworth North, Ontario. Buried East Plains United, Flamborough East, Wentworth, Ontario

Aaron D married (1) Catherine PETTIT on 2 Dec 1829 in St Andrew'S, Church, Grimsby. Catherine was born 1809. She died 1832.

Aaron D also married (2) Ruth BRIDGMAN on Oct 1833. Ruth was born 1808 in Grimsby, , Ontario. She is buried in Mt Vernon, Nelson Twp., Halton.
They had the following children:

2 F iii. Eliza EMERY was born 1841.
3 F iv. Janet EMERY was born 1842 in Trafalgar, Ontario.
Janet married Joseph LINDLEY on 28 Oct 1868.
4 F v. Harriet A EMERY was born 1843.
5 M vi. Thomas Andrew EMERY was born 11 Jun 1844 in Trafalgar, Nelson Twp., Gore and was christened 15 Sep 1844.

Aaron D also married (3) Jane VANNORMAN. Jane was born 1822 in Ontario.. She is buried in East Plains United, Flamborough East, Wentworth Co., Ontario.
They had the following children:

7 M viii. Cummins VANNORMAN CV EMERY was born 1851.
Cummins married wife on 11 Oct 1882 in Burligton, Ontario.

+ 10 M xi. William Arthur EMERY WN was born 1857.
11 F xii. Jane EMERY was born 1861.
12 M xiii. William John EMERY was born 1863.
13 F xiv. Ada EMERY was born 1867.
14 F xv. Mary EMERY was born 1869.

Second Generation


1. Henry D EMERY (Aaron D) was born 1839.
Henry D married Emma. Emma was born 1836 in Ontario.
They had the following children:

25 F ii. Martha EMERY was born 1871 in Ontario.
26 F iii. Bertha EMERY was born 1873 in Ontario.



6. Ethbert B EMERY (Aaron D) was born 1849.
Ethbert B married Eliza. Eliza was born 1852 in Ontario. She died in MICHIGAN, US.
They had the following children:

28 F ii. Nellie EMERY was born 1875 in Ontario, Canada.
29 F iii. Sarah E EMERY was born 1879 in Ontario, Canada.

10. William Arthur EMERY (Aaron D) was born 1857.
William married Libbie BELL about 1877 in Flamborough East, Wentworth North, Ontario. Libbie was born about 1860.

Aaron Dunham Emery was my great great grandfather. I have most information on his descendents if you are still interested as this is a reply to a very old post.

Yes, I am still interested in contacting a descendant of Aaron D Emery. I am more interested in his ancestory then his descendants. Do you know who his parents were? Did he have any Emery relations in Canada near him?

I have a ton of info on him that I would be happy to share -he always lived close to my Emery family and we always recorded his info along with ours. The possibility they are related needs to be searched.
