I have gotten many pieces of useful information from this thread with chatterchit.
Could you or anyone tell me if there is a way to find out what ship an ancestor came to America on? They came from Sweden in 1882. I have the emigration record from Ancestry.com but it doesn't list the ship name. I'd love to get see a photo of the ship.
