Mrs. Nettie Overby Whaley, 65, wife of Sam Whaley died Monday at Hayswood Hospital, Maysville, where she was admitted Thursday.

She is survived by her husband and one son, Reynold Whaley, Tampa, Fla.

She was the daughter of the late Luke and Tida Overby of Robertson County. She was the sister of Mrs. Lilly Garfield Barnett, Mrs. Rose Fooks, Edward and William Overbey, all deceased.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Piqua Christian Church by the Rev. Jack Knechtley and Rev. Eudell Hall. Burial was in the Piqua Cemetery.
