Descendants of Robert Wallace HOGE

First Generation

1. Robert Wallace HOGE was born 1798 in Virginia. He died 23 Jan 1870 in Polk County, Georgia.
Robert married (1) Ann WHEELER, daughter of John WHEELER and Massey BORDEN.
They had the following children:
2 M i. John W. HOGE Mute, Shoemaker was born 1832 in Tennessee.
3 F ii. Susannah HOGE was born 1835 in Alabama.
Susannah married Mr. BEASLEY.
4 F iii. Mary Teague HOGE Mute was born 1837 in Alabama.
Mary married Lucius PRIOR.
5 M iv. William HOGE was born 1838 in Alabama.
6 M v. Jehu A. HOGE Mute was born 1840 in Alabama. He died 1911 in Rockmart, Polk County, Georgia and was buried in New Harmony Cemetery, Polk County, Georgia.
7 M vi. Stephen Kelley HOGE was born 1842 in Alabama.
Robert also married (2) Sarah PUTMAN, daughter of Simeon PUTMAN and Margaret "Peggy" MERCER, before 1848 in Benton or Cleburne County, Alabama. Sarah was born 1803.
