Hursts in Lawrence Co
I am trying to tie a Hurst family to our Hurst family that came to Lawrence County from Franklin County Alabama in the early 1900's. In Bethel Cemetery is a marker for Russell H. Hurst 10/15/1859 to 3/10/1915. His son was Harry C. Hurst and grandson is James Earl Hurst. They say they are from Mt Hope. I feel certain they are descendents of Henry Hurst or one of his children. He lived in Russellville Alabama. If anyone knows the origins of this family, please contact me.
