I don't think so..but who knows??? Mine starts out with William and Mary MATTHEWS in VA. My GGGgrandfather was b.1793 in VA. and by 1810 they are in KY. Below is some info for you on Barren Co,KY.

Barren County, the thirty-seventh in order of formation, lies in south-central
Kentucky, midway between Louisville and Nashville, and covers an area of 482 square miles. It is bordered by Hart, Edmonson, Warren, Allen, Monroe, and Metcalfe Counties. Created on December 20, 1798, from parts of Warren and Green Counties, it was named for the barrens, the meadowlands that covers the northern third. 70% of the original settlers came from Virginia; 80% of them were English, Scottish, Welsh, or Irish.
