According to his death certificate, John Henry Chambers was born in Toledo, Cleveland Cty, Arkansas in 1871. His parents are listed as John Henry & Maggie Hunter. I am unsure how accurate this info is. He did not live with his parents & did not talk about them. He married Arlena Brown & most of their children were born in Montague Cty, Texas.

Years ago, someone posted on a board that his parents were killed in a tornado. I was unable to connect with the person who posted that, so I don't know if that was true or not. His oldest living descendant had never heard that story (you would think that would have been talked about in the family).
