I am trying to find information on my ggggrandmother, Emily Jane Crawford. She was married twice previous to Mr. Crawford to Ruben Townsend (d. about 1855) and then to Garland Parrish (d. 1860-1780). Last known she was married to a Crawford and they lived in Ouachita, Polk County. I last found her on the 1880 census as HOH. If anyone has any information on these families I would appreciate the help. If anyone has or has access to the 1890 tax lists for this township. I did not find her on the 1900 census.

I AM HAVING PROBLEMS TRIING TO FIND ANY INFO ON HER. AR CENSUS GIVE HER BIRTH DATE ABOUT 1827 TO 1830 IN AR.IF SHE WAS 73 AT THE TIME OF HER PASSING 1824 TO 1825 WOULD BE HER BIRTH DATE.I HAVE SEEN A POSTING THAT SAID SEE WAS A CHOCTAW INDIAN BUT NO PROOF.I KNOW THERE ARE INDIANS IN THE PARRISH FAMILY.I WISH WHEN PEOPLE POST INFO THAT THEY PROVIDE PROOF.ANY INFO AND THE SOURCE OF THE INFO WOULD BE A HELP.

I don't know if emily was a indian. some of the parrish crawford were choctaw. check the choctaw roll book at the libary. that is were I found mine.
