DEATH of a PIONEER -- Captain John FRITZ, at one time connected with the banking house of Donohue, Ralston & Co., and later still an extensive quartz miner in Angels, Calaveras county, died on Friday last at the Napa White Sulphur Springs, after an illness of several years. He was 52 years of age.
