My name is Gregory Goble and I am researching my wifes family residing in Bakersfield. Her maternal grandfather was Pierre Borderre died in Jan of 1957 and she thinks he was buried in a Kern County Cemetery, probably Green Lawn or Hillcrest. I know that he immigrated from the Basque region of France. His wife was Ethel Brady and she died in August of 1975. I understand that his parents are buried there and he is along side of them, she was cremated. Can you direct me to any listings that can be of help?

hello i don't know if i have replied to this message before but i have some information you might be interested in - my grandfather is Pierre Borderre and my grandmother is Ethel Brady.
thank you for some info that i didn't have so here is some for you - pierre's parents names are Urepel for some strange reason, but nothing surprises me anymore with this genealogy
i do know that immigrated on a ship called the Gascogne in 1906 at the age of 17.
i don't know if he is buried with his parents but i do know that he is buried at Green Lawn i saw the cemetry.
all the info you have supplied co-incides with mine.
ethel brady married again (i don't have that info right now, but she married a wilkinson (Dallas M.) and had two sons; one daughter by Pierre named (Suzann)she had two girls Holly and Lisa
