LANCASTER MAN CALLED BY DEATH
As we go to press, the death of Mr. Lewis I. Mason was brought to our attention. Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, Mary Pearl
Mason of
Lancaster, a daughter, Mary and Grandchild Roziilind of
Los Angeles, Low R. Mason of Muroc and
Rollin Jay
Mason who resides in Inglewood,
Calif.
Mr. Mason was born at
McGregor,
Iowa and was formerly in the banking business with his father at the American National Bank in
Idaho Falls,
Iowa. Due to bad health, Mr. Mason moved to
California where he has spent his last thirty years. He has resided in
Lancaster for the last 3 yrs. where he was in business as a tax accountant.. He is a former member of the
Idaho National
Guard. Mr. Mason passed away after a brief illness of 4 days at the Mojave hospital. Dr H L
Horswill was the attending physician.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Mojave Community Church, Rev. Baily officiating. Mrs. Richie will sing accompanied by Mrs. George, both of
Lancaster. Burial will be at the Mojave Cemetery. The
O'Donnell Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.
