I just wanted to add some updates to this thread. I typoed in my response to Marj in Dec. 2004. Eleanor (Nellie) Burkham married Grant Holcomb, not her sister Kathryn (Kate) as I had typed. Also, Thanks for the info about Maud Burkham. She was the ex-wife of Harlan Burkham. They were both from Bodie, California. Harlan was killed in a mine cave-in and is buried in Bodie. They were already divorced at the time. As you said, Maude moved to Reno. Thanks again for everyone's responses. And, sorry for my typo.
