Thank you for answering my post you have helped so many. The last census I have found with Edwin(Edward)listed was 1880 in Jasper Co. Illinois with his mother Caroline Jones and brother and half brother. Carrie(Caroline)Jones came to Ca. and married Eber Van Vrankin in Dec 1884 in Anderson, Shasta Co. then they moved to Clements, Ca. I have a Orphans file that Edwin A signed in 1890 in Clements that is the last I know of him. I do not have 1890 census. In 1900 I have E Van Vranken, Carrie, Curtis, Ralph and Roy living in San Joaquin, Elliott twp. So Edwin(Edward)Jones either left or died between 1890 and 1900. 1912 Robert Curtis Jones stated there were only him and Wendell survivors of there father Joseph B. Jones that died in Illinois, he was a Captain in the Civil War. Thank you again. Norma
