I doubt I am able to give you any info but I may be able to point you in a good direction. I am related to the Jacobs family of Darien, CT. They are married into my great grandmother's family (BACON) who are from Greenwich. That makes me think your family may be connected to mine. I also vaguely recall that the family owned a store. Anyway, I am unfortunately no longer close to them. (My family moved away from Darien in the 70s & we lost touch.) But they still live in Darien. By checking Yahoo!'s People Search, you can get their address. Look up Jacobs in Darien, CT. I suggest you send them a brief letter stating who you are, enclose a copy of your photo, and tell them your story. To make things easier for them, enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope in which they may reply to you. Please be sure to tell them how you located their address and what your intentions are. You may tell them their long-lost cousin, Heather Meyer (my maiden name), pointed you in their direction.
