Classification: Biography
Surnames: Clayton, Quinn, Darnell, Wolf, Bradley, Draper
BIO: There is a wonderful old photo of Rubin Quinn Clayton, his horse "Old Lib," and his little white milk wagon in front of W. W. Draper's Livery in Walnut, (Bureau Co.) IL in the July-Aug. 1989 issue of "The Genealogical Helper" magazine, pg. 209.

Rubin Clayton was the son of John Henry and Mary (Darnell) Clayton. He married Virginia "Jenny" Wolf 05 April 1848. Their children were Mary Valeria, Earl Elanson, Rachel Emerillis and Orpha Gertrude Clayton.

This charming photo was submitted by Mildred M. Bradley, 11194 Mann Road, Wilton, CA 95693, who was seeking information on the family.

Hope this tidbit serendipitiously provides "just the right clue" to Illinois researchers.
