ERNEST WINEGARDNER
CANTON -- Ernest E. Winegardner, 86, of 380 W. Spruce died at 3:53 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, in the Graham Hospital emergency room.
Born Feb. 8, 1912, in Dunfermline to Charles and Ardina Glacia Shaw Winegardner, he married Anna M. Aldrich on Feb. 11, 1933, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, William of Geneseo; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Willard of McAllen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, three brothers and one sister.
An employee of International Harvester for 37 years, he retired in 1971. He was a volunteer driver for the American Red Cross for 20 years.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 784. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home. The Rev. Kevin Kessler will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the memorial home. Burial will be in Highbridge Cemetery in Dunfermline.
Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
