I think I might have some information. The information I have shows that Cyrus was born in 05 Nov 1823 and died 01 Oct. 1903. Cyrus married Sarah Orr.
His father was John Smith Jr, born 11 Oct 1783 in Ridgefield, Fairfield, Connecticut . John Smith Jr had 14 sons and daughters. Cyrus was one of the brothers along with my great grand father Augustus B. Smith. Augustus was born 02 Jun 1830. He was in the Civil war, and was married three times. His third wife Addie Payne was my great grandmother. I believe he (Augustus) is buried in Canton,Il.
