I have traced my Barnett line to James Cook BARNETT b. about 1792 in North Carolina. He died abaourt 1864 in Gallatin County, Illinois. His wife's name was Sarah.

Do not know how many children they had. I have information only on William, b. 20 Mar 1825 in Illinois. He married Elizabeth Cathorine Allen 20 Mar 1845 in Hamilton, IL.
