My grandparents had disappeared in the 1910 census of southern Indiana, where they were born and lived nearly all their lives. I do find Jesse Bells, Hettie Bells and son Hawin, 6, in Lawrence County IL in that census. I feel sure this must be them:

Jesse Wells born Indiana
Hettie Wells
Hayward Wells (correct age.)

Has anyone ever seen this surname in Lawrence at that period of time? Can't figure what they were doing there, but feel sure it is them.
