My great-grandmother was Amanda Hayes/Hays born in KY on 29 Nov 1861 to Beauford "Bluford" Hayes/Hays and Catherine "Mann?". They moved with her siblings to Macoupin County IL between 1860 and 1880 and then after 1880 to Kansas.
Beauford was born 13 Apr 1836 KY to William Hayes/Hays born abt 1804. William's wife was Nancy born abt 1807.

Beauford's children were Jasper/KY, Newton/KY, Amanda/KY, Williard/KY, John W/IL, Nancy/IL, and Charles/IL.
