Mrs. John Griffith, who formerly lived at Cross Roads with the Gorbett family, died early Monday morning at her home near Baylis. Malinda Neighbors was born in Ohio 71 years ago and was left an orphan when a baby and taken into the Gorbett home. One adopted sister, Mrs. Bell Mull Deter, with the husband survive. Rev. Waltmire conducted a short service at the Perry Cemetery on Tuesday.
