Looking for information on Silas D. Clark, specifically was he the son of Silas Clark & Nancy, born in VT about 1810 and moved to Herkimer Co. NY, then Freeport, IL?

He is in the 1850 Freeport census; age 40?, wife Emily, son George, daughter Rosina.

1860 Freeport census; S.D. Clark,Farmer, wife Emily, Geo., Chas Giles laborer, Lizzy ?servant.

1870 Freeport census; G.H.?Clark Farmer, Emeline wife, Lamb, Mary dom. servant, Johnston ? laborer, Clark,S.D.
Farmer, Clark,Emily

1880 Freeport census; Clark, George produce dealer age 42, Emma? age 32 keeping house, Clark, Silas D. age 70, Clark, Emily age 70, Keith, Lillian age 16 at school cousin, two servants whose names I can't read.

In all the census records, Silas D. Clark is listed as being born in VT, his father in VT and his mother in CT. However there are a number of Silas Clarks, born in VT, moved to NY and then to IL.

If anyone has any information on this family, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks,

Barbara
