I have just finished typing a 73 page memoir of my GGGrandfather, William SUTTON. William was born in Galena, Jo Daviess Co., Illinois in 1844 to George and Mary (WHITAKER) SUTTON. His first wife, Sarah Josephine FLOTT, passed away in 1911. He remarried Elsie PEPOON and in 1929, just prior to his death, dictated his "Recollections of a Busy Life." William fought in the Civil War with the 3rd Missouri Cavalry, and later moved to Nebraska, settling in the Southeast corner, eventually making Table Rock, Pawnee County, Nebraska, his home. His story is full of names and adventures, although you'll have to guess a lot on some of the dates. I would be happy to forward a copy of this to anyone interested in William SUTTON of this line. I have traced his ancestory no further than his mother and father, and would be most appreciative of anyone who knows more.

Elsie Sutton was my fathers aunt and we visited her in Lincoln quite a few years after Mr. Suttons death. She was responsible for the first family history which she completed in 1932.

I have been working on the Pepoon Genealogy for about 10 years and have visited Table Rock where Elsie and several family members are buried. Without the work that Elsie completed it would have been very difficult to put together the updated family history.

My great great grandfather was Eli T Boon (also Boone), who married Eunice A. Pepoon, born in 1842 to Silas and Mary Pepoon. Her brother was Joseph Pepoon. I am very interested in learning more about your branch of this tree.

Found your info. on the Boone family tree referring to the Daugherty family. We are related through Alice Hill Daugherty. Her brother is my g grandfather. Hope to hear from you. This is the only way that I've been able to figure out how to reach you.
